A Bit About Me
My name is Alex and I am a wife, mother, perinatal educator, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based out of Vancouver, BC. I am passionate about helping moms and babies achieve their breastfeeding goals, whether that be before or after birth! I am qualified to assist with a variety of breastfeeding complications, but I have a special interest in prenatal education and mastitis management.

In addition to my breastfeeding/lactation education, I have studied philosophy, anthropology, and human biology at Douglas College and the University of British Columbia. I love learning, and derive great joy from sharing information with others. Part of what I enjoy about childbirth and breastfeeding education is the ongoing opportunity to grow in knowledge, and help promote curiosity in those around me.
It is also my belief that a culture of breastfeeding and motherhood can only be accomplished when education and support are accessible for all members of the community. If you are struggling financially, please ask me about our sliding scale and payment options.
In-home options available for patients living in Metro Vancouver, North & West Vancouver, Lions Bay, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, Delta, Maple Ridge, Mission. Virtual options available worldwide.
